I don't know if it's just me, but Thanksgiving seems like it came faster than usual this year!! But I am not complaining because this is my absolute favorite time of year. Living in California away from my family in Tennessee, I have missed the past two Thanksgivings (Friendsgiving for the win) Although I wish I was able to have been there the past two years, it has given me a greater appreciation for this time of year and been a little reminder to not take time spent with family for granted. I get to spend Thanksgiving with majority of my family this year, still missing a few :( and I could not be happier!
But most importantly what to wear. Whether you are one of those families that has many different locations to attend for Thanksgiving day or stays in one spot, I want to bring you inspiration on what to wear for this special time with family and friends. I feel as though this is my last chance to wear fall colors before I dive straight into the holiday season wearing bright reds, blacks, and lots of sparkle! Can ya blame a girl? I love Christmas!! But back to letting Thanksgiving have its moment, I found these suede boots last year at Zara and loved the lace up detail on the back. You know its fall when I whip these out. I paired them with an olive green swing dress that is sooo comfortable and perfect for stopping by each thanksgiving celebration and eating your way through the day. Swing dresses are pretty thin and depending on the weather you could either pair it with a light jacket or bundle up with a blanket scarf like I did. This makes it easy to take on and off throughout the day. I can't wait to celebrate Thanksgiving with my Family this year in Vail. I hope you all have an amazing Thanksgiving and cherish the special moments your get with family and friends.
