I recently visited Washington D.C. and I have to say I left a little piece of my heart in Georgetown. It is full of the cutest little stoops and everything is walking distance. This little town is so clean and the fall leaves made it seem like a story book. Not to mention the amazing shopping. I think my favorite part about visiting this trip was seeing all the places that are in Scandal. (My absolute favorite show). Although the weather was strangely warm, I loved getting to see all the colorful leaves, we made it just in time. As much as I enjoy living in sunny Los Angeles and the palm trees, I love having seasons and seeing the leaves. Fall leaves never cease to amaze me and get me in the Fall spirit. Although it was a short trip (a day and a half) I got to roam around Georgetown and see all the monuments and visit Arlington Cemetery, which was an incredible experience this time of year. The air was crisp enough in the morning to break out my favorite boots for colder weather. I came to the conclusion that people here all dress so nicely, like even going to the gym. How cute is this top from Swirling Honey Boutique. In all of its plaid cuteness it is longer in the back and shorter in the front, one of my favorite qualities in tops! Georgetown was the perfect place to break it out and the quarter length sleeves and thickness were perfect for the weather. I put a light jacket over it for the morning and took it off when the weather warmed up throughout the day. I am packing up for a ski trip to the mountains for thanksgiving and am bound to take this top and these boots with!! Hope you are have had an amazing weekend!
