Courtney Sims (Editor-in-chief)
Courtney is a 23 year old from Nashville, TN currently living in Los Angeles, CA and the founder of CourtneySims.com. She studied Business and Visual Communications at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising while figuring out big city living. Since, she has endeavored into the world of PR going on to work for New York Times best-selling Publicist Julie Solomon and influencer Angela Lanter. Courtney is a workaholic and loves a packed schedule. Her ideal weekend includes an early morning barre class, exploring LA's many different coffee shops and vegan restaurants, or a beach day in Malibu. She first got a feel for the blogging business with her internship at Shop Sincerely Jules. In her time at SJ she learned the ins and outs of blogging and running a business and quickly became close with the small team. She was able to grow with the company and watch it expand into what it is today. As a result of her passion for editorial content creating, she has built this blog to serve as a creative outlet for herself and to share with others what she is currently loving while giving insight about all of life's experiences.
Kaitlin feaster (Assistant editor)
Kaitlin, 23, is originally from Shrewsbury, NJ transplanted into the South by way of Oxford, MS. She is a soon to be grad from the University of Mississippi, where she and Courtney first met and instantly became best friends. Kaitlin is a spin instructor at Pure Ryde Oxford and is studying journalism. When Kaitlin is not instructing a spin class, she enjoys relaxing weekends reading, a good movie and wine night, or visiting her boyfriend in Seattle for a weekend trip. She is a Pinterest mastermind and lover of Instagram. Kaitlin first dove into the editorial content/social media world with her summer internship at Aeropostale, where she she was able to learn about the brand and the importance of. social media marketing. She has recently come on as a contributing editor to share her passion for writing and provide how to's for navigating your early twenties, relationships, school and personal life.
Hannah Robinson (Beauty Editor)
Hannah Robinson is a 23-year-old Atlanta native who currently resides in Little Rock, AR, and her heart always longing for California. Hannah started her career in beauty in 2013, when the obsession began, and the rest is history. She excels in balayage, and was lucky enough to take an extensions and styling class with Jen Atkin (yes, that Jen Atkin). She is a self proclaimed beauty product connoisseur, and enjoys lending her expert advice in all things hair, makeup, and skincare. When she isn’t working behind the chair, you can find her planning her next weekend trip, Pinterest-ing, and doing research for whatever project she is working on next! Hannah has come on as our Beauty Editor to offer you babes all the tips, tricks, reviews, and things we need to know about hair, skin, and the bits in between.
Carlie Rice (Food editor)
Carlie, 23, is from Monmouth Beach, NJ and recently moved back to her hometown along the Jersey coastline after graduating from Pace University in New York City with a double major in Communications and Film and Screen Studies. During her time living in NYC, Carlie found herself exploring her bustling career opportunities and interning for a variety of companies, which ranged from an award winning PR firm to planning exhibitions for the Discovery Times Square museum. She got a knack for event planning, marketing, and videos, which led her to where she is today: a videographer and event planner for the Italian food company Colavita USA. In her free time, she loves to bake, swim or hike, and watch horror movies. With a passion for writing since she was very young, Carlie eagerly jumped on the opportunity to become a contributor, specifically sharing her adventures in the kitchen through recipes and experiences.
Cortney Campbell (Lifestyle Editor)
Cortney is a 27 year old living in Boston whose dream was to become a buyer. Cortney received her bachelors degree in early childhood education but once she graduated decided that her dream was fashion. After four years of retail and determination, she finally was accepted into her dream company of TJX (corporate office for Tj Maxx, Marshalls and Home Goods) as a buying assistant for the Jewelry division. Now that she has successfully made her way into the company, there is only growth from here and is very determined to make her way to the top. When Cortney isn't working in the office, you will find her and her boyfriend exploring something completely new to them, rock climbing. Cortney has come on as lifestyle editor and will be giving insight into the fashion world from a corporate side and she is so excited to become part of the team!
